The takeaway is really good. You’re not firing your hips really though. The feeling that was like a breakthrough for me was the “towel stretch” feeling. ▶ this video And just remember with the hips…when you fire you’re really pushing your left glute back to meet your right. Not so much pushing your right glute back to where to started. Hope that makes sense. Definitely get a couple lessons

Thank you, this is incredible advice! I even looked up the video you mentioned (or something similar) and the ▶ this video. I’d love to try the slope techinque, just don’t know where I’ll find a slope where I can hit golf balls. Would created a little “mound” so that the ball is above your feet suffice? Thanks again for the comment man, I’m gonna be hitting the range again today to try and correct my wrist hinge.

[preview.redd.it] If you’re moving your hips inches towards the ball, of course the hozel is going to come into play. This was tough for me to fix but I’ll link you a good one: ▶ this video

This tip from padraig harrington will help a lot & almost effortlessly. You're missing out on loading/stretching some big muscles in your left side: ▶ this video Just keep in mind the weight shift starts when your arms hit shoulder height so the momentum of your arms is still going up a bit while you shift. Good luck!

You have good bones in your swing, but also some issues. Two main ones: ▶ this video Watch this explanation of the start of the downswing by Paddy Harrington. Your downswing is out of sequence (hands are moving first) which causes the really steep downswing despite the hands dropping quite well. If you start your transition correctly you should see big improvements. Other thing is to look at some photos of pros …

Haha I know I’m not tiger woods, but Padraig Harringtons video on how to start the downswing got me to think of pushing my weight to right heel on the downswing. He has some great videos ▶ this video

Ooof ok here’s my best shot. Do you take it far inside on the backswing? Yes but so does Fitz. Do you have the club layed off and deep in the backswing? Yes but so does Rahm. Do you have a very bowed and most likely shut face at the top? Yes but so does 5 of the top 20 in the world. Do you chicken wing on your follow through? Yes but so does Spieth. Ok so you could change a lot here to help, obviously… but before …

Impressive how you do that, andnyour problems are not common. If have tried tonuse other peoples fixes for your swing. So lots of potential. 1. Setup, your posture, so rigid, find some balance ▶ this video 2. Take away, those stops are drills for an issue you may not have, not a backswing. Stop stopping, you are losing your path. Its impossible to know at this stage. ▶ this video 3. Sequence, and tempo on the …

You have a very steep and over the top swing. That’s gonna cause a slice and high ball flight. Work on dropping your hands behind you as opposed to pulling the handle of the club toward the ball. Check out this video: ▶ this video

I have a similar issue with the hip turn and someone on another thread sent me this to explain the movement at the top of the backswing. Padraig does a pretty good job of going over the movement. Going to try out at the range next time. ▶ this video
