Look up "Sergio Garcia downswing towel drill"; you want to feel the downswing pulling with your right hand with your pinky, ring, and middle finger. I'm 6' 6" as well so this clip/drill has come in clutch (you might need a friend to hold a towel for you) but the feeling is fire the hips, pull down on the towel. Youtube Short: ▶ this video

Stop over swinging on the back swing, put a glove in underneath your trail/right armpit and it shouldn’t fall out in the back swing. Then on your downswing movement, this absolutely changed my swing and strike. Sergio Garcia’s “pull the bell”.. such a simple idea and really helped me stop coming over the top. ▶ this video Best of luck!

You're a touch over the top and your legs aren't getting enough engagement to generate speed. Your hips need to drive your swing if you want more power. Sergio Garcia is a little bitch, but he's also given the single best driver tip. [Pull the chain](▶ this video In the video you posted you do exactly what robs you of power - hips and shoulders move at the same time. Compare that to Rory McIlroy, ▶ this video as he …

Sergio has a great YouTube clip about the first movement in the downswing. Rather than a rotation of the shoulders (as seen 0:04) it’s a drop of the arms closer to the body. This begins your swing inside. I’m still grappling with this myself as it feels unnatural to me but I try think of it as staying closed to the target for longer rather than opening up my upper body too early. This helps stop the error of the …

you are not maintaining spine angle and you are swinging over the top. backswing- try maknig the club head go 'out and right' more than you are, get to top of back swing, then u need to drop your hands towards pocket first, then unhinge wrists and explode. keep your arms straight and inside elbow sockets pointing up - then on down swing get your elbows IN - like ur about to pull on a chain going down. watch this …

There are many ways you can tackle this. I notice your swing path is very neutral. There's very little shallowing if any. Do you ever practice with a launch monitor to see your club path relative to the club face? 1. You can change your set up to be more closed. 2. You can keep your back to the target when you shift your weight forward just a bit longer. 3. Practice shallowing the club/ delivery drill ▶ this video …

Very steep downswing. Kills your ability to rotate or you would pull everything way left so you stall. You need to shallow the club in transition and lay the club and shaft on this 4:30 plane. [preview.redd.it] WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video

At the top of your backswing the first move should be hands coming down and then the body follows. Here’s a video explaining in more detail ▶ this video

It’s kind of hard to tell with you set up so crooked but I don’t think I hate your takeaway motion, it just gets spinny after that. Try this feel out next time you’re at the range, and if you actually want to fix things you’re going to have to stop addressing the ball like that. If you want to play a cut you can keep a little bit but your body naturally wants to swing down the toe line and with your feet like that …

Put a towel under your right arm and don't let it fall out when you swing. Another thing to think about is when you get to the top of your swing the first movement your hands make are down, like you're pulling a rope down. Like this ▶ this video

Remember this is just all my opinion lol. Never worry about getting too quick at the top. It’s WHAT gets quick or not that’s the problem. ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video
