Regarding where to feel pressure in trail foot or leg, this linked part of video really clicked for me. ▶ this video

Yea Greg the TPI guy has a good progression for this. Really, all three these drills are going to help train the lower body, but this link goes straight to the progression at the 14 minute mark ▶ this video

I'll give you two videos from TPI with a couple drills to help. Everyone has a different feel. You basically need more X-factor (not maximum, theres a sweet spot to prevent injury). My feel is right hook punching something at waist level. How can I do that with body power and fist speed? Similar feel is a side arm/submarine max velocity baseball pitch. ▶ this video ▶ this video

The straight up stance isn't a bad thing but you need to slightly flex both legs in the backswing and the top. Think sitting on a really high stool. The slight flex preps you for your unweighting at the top and an explosive delivery. Here is what you're prepping for: ▶ this video

I was actually watching a video on this with Dr. Greg Rose of TPI. He said you want to get more towards your ball of the lead foot in transition to maximize ground forces from the lead foot. YMMV ▶ this video
