I was in love with my big swing, and I'm not as coordinated as yourself. Tried no turn cast to load those hands .... It was great fun. Couldn't shorten, until I mastered this lesson. ▶ this video, Then Paddy showed how to give up my desire to control with the hands and ▶ this video.

I used to lock out the trail knee as well. This ▶ this video by Padraig Harrington really helped with that. Long story short you need to internally rotate your trail leg while rotating in the opposite direction with your torso. Keeps a sturdy base and creates a lot of torsion that will help with power

Instead of focusing on your hips rotating, focus on your right hip going straight back in the backswing and your left hip going straight back in the downswing. If you can do that correctly, your hips will naturally rotate and will keep that right hip from poking towards the ball. These two videos helped me more to understand pressure in my feet more and what the hips should actually be doing in the golf swing: ▶ …

I'm here for the comments because man do we have some similar issues. One feel thing that helped me with the straight leg thing was feeling that your right hip is going to be higher than your left in the backswing - once I unlocked that idea I am much more able to make a full backswing without locking the right leg. ▶ this video Start about 5 minutes in for that part, but whole thing was very useful to me for …

I've gotten rid of it, but it's always something you may need to work on. The chair drill is useless IMO. Sometimes EE is swing related and setup related so the brain can hit the ball, sometimes it's not, i.e. just a pattern from ground forces. These are the changes I made, but I encourage you to seek a coach to help you so you don't mess up your swing and back. 1. Number one mental change I made was to completely …

Hand path and arm structure in backswing are great. I think youre failing to use ground forces properly and try to generate speed with your arms and hands on the way down. Speed comes from the ground up. Check out this Padraig Harrington video about how to load into trail side on takeaway it has helped me tremendously. ▶ this video Basically right thigh needs to internally rotate more on backswing, you will feel a …

Agree - - I found Padraig harrington's video on getting the hip underneath to be super helpful. When I'm struggling I focus on his point about feeling a "pinch" in the crease of your leg around 9:00 mark ▶ this video

I surprised it took me this far down to find a comment about the hips. OPs hips are still parallel to the ground through the whole swing and doesn’t turn back to the right nearly enough in the backswing. I learned how to get my back hip higher than my front in the backswing and it totally changed my whole swing. This was the video that did it ▶ this video

You say left heel, but I’m assuming you mean right/trail heel? If so, I have a similar issue. Came across this video from Padraig Harrington and really like what I’m seeing after implementing in practice sessions for the past month or so. Pretty counterintuitive feels, but feels and looks great on camera. ▶ this video

Maybe ▶ this video with the hips? It was one of the ‘aha’ moments where I realized I was rotating with the hips well enough, but my lateral shift wasn’t creating the right energy nor was it pulling my core through in the way he explains it.
