IMO - Your P2 position really sticks out. That lateral sway killed my swing right from the get-go as I never loaded my trail hip correctly in the backswing. What helped me to load the hip correctly was the feeling of getting more depth in that hip. I’m right there with ya. Same issue but always made it ‘work’. Finding out how the hips actually should rotate made me feel crazy. If interested I’d start by watching these 3 vids. The first lightbulb moment was knowing my stance was wrong at address. The other being weight distribution of the pelvis during the swing. Good luck! ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video

hmm, yeah, kind of, but more so the right hip goes back and then the left hip goes back to match it as you follow through. this explains it well. ▶ this video good luck Deerhunter

Lots of good things going on here. But, you need to create and maintain "hip depth" so that you can rotate without standing up. This video is one of the best explanations/visualizations. ▶ this video Two keys takeaways: 1. Don't start out with the hips too far from the ball when viewed down the line. Too far would be center of hips way behind your heels. (You look pretty good here.) 2. In the backswing, the right …

Hip depth = how far directly “backwards”/away from the ball you drive the hip sockets. Most people have an issue with getting their lead hip socket deep, leading to early extension to compensate. I’ve heard varying ideas for where the hips should align at impact so I can’t really refute what you said tbh. I’ve been told as square as possible, slightly closed like tiger is fine. Edit: mike Malaska’s definition is my …

Check out this video. I don’t agree with a lot of the stuff Mike Malaska says but this video with the visual he uses was a big eureka for me. Also take note of the cue that Eric says about the belt buckle moving away from the ball in the backswing and even farther away from it in the downswing. ▶ this video

Typo. Edited above. Find a chair that you can set up behind you backwards (where your butt cheeks would touch the top back of the chair). Set it up about 1 inch behind your butt at address. On backswing, move right hip back into the chair. In transition keep right cheek on it but squat a bit till left cheek touches chair too. Then when you start the rotation try not to let right cheek leave the chair edge till right …
