▶ this video Check out Padraig Harrington’s take on the step drill in the linked video. It really helped me get the feel for shifting my weight forward.

Pros get weight going towards target (left for righty) before backswing ends. Yours and many other am's, including me, goes after arms start down. This video helped me a lot. ▶ this video

Here is your answer from Paidrig Harrington. ▶ this video This step to hit drill, especially the step forward part up to about 3.00 min in the video is for you. Watch his grip video if you are not sure I how to grip the club and then this. Your current swing is the opposite to athletic. You’ve played baseball! I figure you can hit and throw. All these skills are directly transferable. Look for those teachers on …

All Padraig's tips are gold but this one was on my radar recently and shows how dynamic your weight transfer really needs to be, good place to start: ▶ this video

Looking better. Don't worry about mishits and ball data when you're starting out and trying to get used to changes. Only thing I'm confused on is whether my trail hand needs to overlap my lead hand at all. Generally you want to either interlock or overlap pinky and index finger where your hands meet. Your trail arm (left) still looks a little awkward at impact, but it's hard to see why. It could be because the grip …

Listen to this, OP. Everyone is focused on your front foot... but your swing is toast way before that. You're all arms, you need to learn how to engage your lower body. 1. Pressure into your trail instep in the takeaway 2. Allow the hips to turn in the backswing, as much as 45 degrees 3. Shift your weight into your left foot as you finish your backswing (not after starting the downswing) 4. In your downswing you'll …

Your swing has a few faults but. Your swing looks a lot better than most beginners. Upper body: Try to turn your left shoulder down at the ball more. Lower body: this is where you need the most help. Stop worrying about your upper body. Concentrate 100% on what your hips, knees and feet are doing. Look up “ground forces” or footwork in a golf swing. ▶ this video

[preview.redd.it] Your early extending and coming over the top. As you can see in this image you are nearly swinging the shaft directly into the ball. I bet 1/5 of your strikes are in the heel. You seem to be in sync, and probably better than most beginners, but if you really want to get to the next level you need to work on your pelvis motion.
