▶ this video ▶ this video I used to have this same problem. Still do sometimes when I get too quick. The only feeling that has ever helped me is feeling like I’m ‘casting’ (meaning throwing the club) behind me towards the ground at the top of the backswing. Will seriously feel like you’re about to bottom out about 6 feet behind the ball but when you combine that with turning your body/hips everything syncs up. I’ve …

So the best way I had it “click” instantly was Monte talking about 8 o’clock and how to drop the club. So target line is 12. You face the ball (as a righty) at three. You rotate chest back to face six. Club shaft has further angle, but arms are also past six, arms and hands are at like 8 or 9. Drop the shaft down while turned back. Drop it down the 8 oclock line. Wrists turn down, hands drop. Not push arms and …

▶ this video Monte Scheinblum No Turn/Cast Drill is the only one that ever fixed my impact position and also got me shallow. It is a counter intuitive move but it works.

Yeah I see flipping to. Be VERY careful about advice about trying to hold the lag or the shaft lean or wrist angle etc. to get rid of that. You will go down a deep rabbit hole and not get the desired result (don't ask me how I know :) The correct way is actually counter-intuitive (which partly explains why so many of us struggle with it) - you actually want to dump (or attempt to) the wrist and arm angles very …

u/lawroter 2024 · r/GolfSwing · in “What is causing me to aggressively goat hump?”

not really. ▶ this video your move is more of a re-route at the top rather than what Monte shows here, but the idea is similar. it's just about getting the face moving towards square immediately at the top, which should let you feel a good rotation, rather than a stall/hump/flip to square the clubface.

Pretty decent but need to add in an anti-hook move of some kind. Here are some good ones: ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video
