My go to is the step and swing drill my instructor taught me. I still use it part of my pre shot routine. ▶ this video

I had the same issue and (for me) I found that I was rushing at the ball with my shoulders. The shoulders initiated the swing and by the time the club got to the ball, I was so crowded, I had to stand up just to make room. What helped me is the step swing drill where (my personal) feeling was that my hips turning out started the swing and then my shoulders and hands accelerated through down the line. Once I turned …

Your backswing is mostly arms. Compare where your sternum is pointing throughout the swing to the club and where the sternum is pointing for a pro. You need to understand how to coil and load the big muscles of the legs and core better, rather than just pulling your arms around the body. See this video from Xander about loading the legs ▶ this video This video on a basic drill to feel core rotation better: ▶ this …

You need to shift pressure forward ealier. I think you hang back partly because the ball position is too far back. Move the ball off your inside left heel. The step drill is good for this feel ▶ this video

It’s hard to tell, but you look like you are a little on your heels in your set up. Can you jump from your set up position? If you start off balance, it’s hard to get balanced. As a drill, hit balls with your feet together, keep your balance throughout the swing. Next progress to a step drill. This one is excellent…. ▶ this video Good luck!

Looks like you’re not transferring your weight correctly and you’re finishing with your weight on your back leg. You should try putting the ball up further in your stance and then practicing the “▶ this video” to feel the proper weight transfer. [preview.redd.it]

Your downswing is all arms. With your left leg and hip just sat there stationary far too long into the downswing. If you were throwing a ball hard, you wouldn't just stay in your back foot and throw with your arm. You'd lead with a weight shift and rotate your left leg and hip. This is a core fundamental so it's important to start incorporating it now. Try a step drill: ▶ this video

Baseball swings don't translate very well for 2 reasons. First, you don't need club face control with a round bat. Second, the baseball swing is a narrow arc with most of the weight on the back leg. A pitcher has to get to the front side with a wider hand arc AND manipulate spin/direction with wrists and hands. Both things translate directly to the golf swing. As for your question, do step drills daily until it …

Tons of good drills to practice correct weight shift sequencing!; i) a one-step happy gilmore swing whereby you're stepping into the shot on the backswing will get you to achieve the forward lateral shift you're looking for combined with the downswing rotation simultaneously; do this without a ball prior - if you wanted to make it more advanced then you could also add in another step with your back foot in your …

Do you have some hip mobility issues, or previous injuries? If you look at 11s-12s in the vid your right hip just stops turning, your trail leg (left) is basically planted and your lead leg (right) has to lift to help you turn. This might be due to mobility, you might be trying to "get the ball up", or maybe just dont inherently understand the movement (you aren't alone). Go drill this for a bit: ▶ this video …
