Here’s a great 7i example of what everyone is saying here about shifting weight to the lead leg. Make sure the shoulders stay stacked above the hips while both rotate, and it’s not just the hips sliding over while the shoulders stay back (again while they both rotate). ▶ this video

Yeah you early extend a little and your head moves off the ball, but overall playable and not bad. Try to keep your head behind the ball while you drive your lead shoulder around you, your chin is currently glued to your lead shoulder. ▶ this video is a good example, his head actually moves back a little just before impact.

The grip looks strong and should switch to neutral, and u have no hinging. Why hinging is important is because u need to keep the angle u have at top of swing, during downswing. Let's look at ▶ this video swing for example. U see when the left arm gets parallel to the ground, his club is pointing straight up. And he maintains that angle through downswing until impact where for force will release the club. This is …

▶ this video Watch how Rory transitions from his right leg to his left, and basically pushes back and up with his left leg to help open up hips and turn thru the swing. Sure, his swing is basically perfect and impossible to replicate but you can learn a lot from it.

You just need to transfer your weight forward so your front hip can be pushed back. Look at Rory’s front foot in this video, he shifts his weight forward into the lead toe on the downswing, then in order to have room and not over extend, pushes into the ground and this in turn pushes his left hip back giving you plenty of space to swing freely. Almost like a baseball hitting taking stride in baseball and …

▶ this video Here's a good example. Ignore everything and just watch the left hand in the downswing. The logo of the glove starts turning to look at the target halfway down, by impact it's basically at the target and post impact it's rotating away. Compare that you to just before impact and you'll see the issue. Yes you can flip driver a little, since we can hit up, but even with driver there is significant arm …

Also super clear in Rory’s swing. ▶ this video This isn’t some quirk or bad habit that they overcome. It’s the result of great sequencing and pressure shifts.
