OP - this is the answer. Lots of videos out there that talk about proper hip/body rotation. Look up videos of clearing the hips properly. Its counter intuitive. Most people rotate the hips by kicking lead hip out on the backswing, and kicking trail hip out on downswing which is incorrect and leads to getting stuck and lots of problems. The hips dont really "rotate" they just move back and forward, but on camera its …

Everything looks good until you get to left arm parallel to the ground in the downswing. Then you just stand up. Basically you aren’t using your hips correctly. If you're looking for swing tips, your arms/back elbow stay behind your body through your hip pivot. Your trail arm needs to clear your trail hip instead of stuck behind it for a bonified "correct" golf swing. ▶ this video

Like the previous post said your trail knee getting past your toe line is causing you hip to lock. ▶ this video

[i.redd.it] In the GIF I have drawn a red line representing the functional swing plane. This is a line drawn through the club hosel and your trail elbow. 3D measurements have shown that most elite golfers swing close to this plane when the club-head is below their head height. The preference is to be at or slightly above this line in the backswing and at or slightly below this line in the downswing. In your case the …
