Also your comment regarding “my hands go over the top” signals to me you are misunderstanding a key concept. The key thing we don’t want is the clubhead to move over the top. The hands DO move over the top. Watching the following video allowed me to grasp this concept, it totally blew my mind and lead to the changes that fixed my over the top: ▶ this video

Hand path vs club center of mass. You’re bringing the hands out to in, which will pull the club steeper. Try going in to out with the hands instead. ▶ this video
