▶ this video That's what pros do. It's a slight down and back move where the arms works more across the chest as you start to turn. So you turn into the lead arm, this gets the hands shallowing properly without trying to make some manual move. It's a different intention. Not down and across the body, more down and then up and around

▶ this video Concepts and intentions go a long way for most golfers. If your intention is to beat that ball like it owes you money, then you're succeeding. If you want to swing the club and let the ball get in the way, you'll need to learn to do so. You're fighting physics and getting your ass kicked as far as accomplishing your stated goal. ▶ this video ▶ this video [preview.redd.it]

But they don't make this motion down the line or straight to the ball. The club is actually "casted" behind them and the force from their rotation actually keeps their angle. A 2D picture doesn't see this. However, 3D motion capture equipment, like GEARS that …

Your hands move right to the ball from the top, add any rotation at all and geometry says it’s over the top every time. ▶ this video

The hands work in a much steeper path than the club. It may be helpful to separate the two paths in your head. ▶ this video ▶ this video [instagram.com] ▶ this video

Forget the towels under the arms and everything like that. You have to stop swinging at the ball. First move from the top should be swinging backwards and down not forwards and out. Your hands need to be working away from your body in the opposite direction of the target. As you rotate they will be perfectly on plane from the inside. It makes sense if you think about the swing as an arc. The rotation takes your …
