Following up on my post from yesterday because a lot of people said I'd wake up today and it'd all be gone. It definitely wasn't whatever I found about my swing seems to have clicked. /u/talonpc posted this video and watching it this morning helped me really remember and get that feel back when I started warming up before hitting the sim today ▶ this video is what he posted and really resonated with me. Your swing looks so similar to mine about a year ago it's uncanny. Going to assume you don't typically take a divot after the ball because you're casting then flipping (I know this because I did it for like 7 years lol). This is the video that helped me have the breakthrough: ▶ this video At around 6mins you'll recognize your swing. Keep the hands/wrists quiet and simply speed up your rotation and you'll start to …

I very recently came across this concept and watched Monte Scheinblum’s No Turn Cast swing video ▶ this video It helped me a ton. I realized I’d been trying to hold wrist angles and once I tried to snap or cast my wrists through impact, everything improved. Distance and accuracy, etc….

▶ this video I think this is what you need. The video says to "try" to do the opposite of what you are supposed to do. Just try it like 3 times... I think you will get the "feel" for arm connectedness. I am no pro and working on something similar (i believe). I watched it last night and swung with no ball, but it immediately feels like a stronger and more connected swing. GL

Look up monte scheinblum's "no turn cast" ▶ this video It's a feel drill that will teach you how to drop the club into the slot and shallow it out. Or set up an alignment stick / balls in a 45 degree angle towards the ball from your back foot. Follow that path and hit from the inside out. Start slow get your 9 iron and take half swings. ▶ this video this shows the ball drill

Every element of your comment is rife with myth and misinformation. Several coaches have made their careers saying exactly that opposite. This is one of the most famous videos in golf instruction, that says the exact opposite: ▶ this video

Holding lag is a losing game. Lag is a result, not an intentional action: ▶ this video

Too much rotation / lower body movement on the backswing. I could go deeper but I'll just let a golf coach do this for you. Here is a great YouTube clip that I think would help you tremendously. ▶ this video
