Someone else previously recommended this ▶ this video, and I found it useful for maintaining arm position through a swing. This ▶ this video on the optical illusion of the golf swing gets recommended a lot. Helps to understand the importance of the hips and shoulders in the swing. If you can afford them, a few lessons would go a long, long way. If not, don't overwhelm yourself. Try to implement 1 new mechanic (maybe …

First, with no club in hand, relax your shoulder sockets (they are pivot hinges), now dangle your arms from them. Imagine that you are holding a 10 lbs bucket of sand (or actually get a kettle weight). Now make your body-muscles swing the bucket of sand, don’t use your hands/arm muscles to swing the bucket. Probably standing a bit too close to the ball. Some guys do play well from that position, but it's unusual. To fix this, make sure your arms are resting on top of your chest at address instead of pressing in from the sides. This will move the hands away from the body a little bit and give you more room to swing. Watch this video from where I've linked it: ▶ this video

Your front elbow position (have the arm locked and over) this sets you into a bad path. Think of it this way, you probably feel really jammed up in your address of the ball? Well when you follow through, that won’t change and your rotation over the ball and out (hence the top). Work on that address first, and things will improve. Couple different ones that might help your elbow positioning: ▶ this video ▶ this video

You’re too close to the ball and your weight is in your heels so you’re actually even closer with weight centred, hence you pick the club straight up in the takeaway. Your right arm collapses too, hence getting low hands. A bit more room for you to swing and better arm structure will take you up a level ▶ this video
