I think there are a few different ways to do it. For me personally, my weight shift to the left l starts when my right shoulder kind of “bounces” off the restriction against the hips. From there, I just feel like I bend over with my back still to the target and after that it’s all downhill. So there is a full pause in there to change direction. This Tiger video from 2000 is a great visual. His move is much, much …

It looks like your trail elbow is pulling the hands and club too deep in the backswing. You want to get the hands a bit higher at the top of the of the backswing. ▶ this video Now, you don’t have to have your hands at the same exact height or anything, but I would work on getting your hands to work more up, rather than going straight behind you

It's probably compensating for other issues with your swing but I'm not a pro, I can only point you at videos of pros: ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video

your posture is going to effect the way your hips and shoulders work. It's very s shaped. Try getting underneath your butt and feeling more hunched over. I would suggest working on your posture in the mirror or making some videos where you work on really relaxing the arms and fixing the posture. check this out: [▶ this video Notice the correct posture here (how its more rounded and a more hunched over look): ▶ …

Funny you mention shallowing and then look at the top comment here when I was looking for slowmo swing videos of early 2000s Tiger since your takeaway to the top reminded me of his swing. 0:37 mark for the slowmo view from the back ▶ this video

While there are some "quick fixes" that may patch this temporarily, the root cause of your pull (in large part) is in fact your upward head movement on the second 1/2 of your backswing. What rises, falls. As you attack the ball, your head pulls down and left, and the arms/body follows that. You're clearly athletic because your head/eyes are working to get back to where they were at address. If the head stays still, …

I figured it was gankas or that style. Sounds good in theory. Not how stuff works. Chest will always be slightly open. Not 45 deg open like gankas preaches. ▶ this video Tiger post impact is relatively square. Most of the top players have it slightly open at impact and hips more open. Chest isnt wide open. Gankas is ok but overhyped. I certainly wouldnt go for lessons with him but to each his own. But looking at …

Here we go again. I wanna know do you understand the golf swing or release patterns or you just post damn near the same thing for every one? This guy isn’t a rotational player. Is Tiger doing that bs here? ▶ this video
