You are probable struggling to get your shoulders square due to your stance. Look up the reverse K stance. You're also rotating your wrists on the backstroke which is opening the face. It make the timing at contact difficult as there's no room for error. This video should help you. ▶ this video

Once the arms break down in the backswing, it's really hard to get them back into position/sequence. Keep that lead arm straight, and you don't even need to take it back to your limit. Clubhead speed does not come from reaching all the way back.
