People are mentioning your “army” swing. I agree. Here’s a video that helped me regarding how the hips are used in the swing: ▶ this video Minor setup thoughts, move a hair further from the ball and lean a hair forward to compensate. Your balance seems a bit too far back. I’d recommend a bit more flex in your ankles.

This video was very helpful for me as well ▶ this video I suffer from the same problem and have to remember the thought of bringing my left cheek back when swinging. Edit: Just noticed you have the alignment stick there, what for?

Check your foot pressure. You’re moving forward as you’re moving back meaning you’re off balance then throwing everything at the ball because of momentum. You want mid/even foot pressure across the whole foot. Your hips rotate but how they work is in straight line forces. Right hip / femur goes back. Then left hip / femur goes back to meet it. Both pushing away. This video explains it well ▶ this video

Looks like you’re rotating around your left leg on the downswing. This is causing your right hip to move closer to the ball, which means your hands have to compensate by moving closer. This moves the club head forward and makes you hit the ball off the hosel. Try to get more depth in the left hip. Here’s a video that helped me: ▶ this video

Some observations: There is no need to get an iron that far back in your rotation To get the iron that far back, you are using your arms and a wrist break instead of natural rotation of the hips and shoulders. The rotation of the wrist should be a natural motion that complements the rotation, it is not the wrists getting the club head into the back swing You aren’t rotating your hips, you are just swaying them to …
