Yeah o think so. Watch this video and pause when he is at the very top of his swing. His arm makes a 90 degree angle with his back. Doing this helped me from coming over the top because the club was a touch lower and wanted to come around a bit more. I don’t have a perfect swing by any means but it helped a lot. Doesn’t have to be perfectly 90 degrees but it could help - experiment and see if it is something for you …

I like your swing path! I’d say a slightly wider back swing would help gain a little more space for your hands on the downswing. It will also create less fold to your right arm which will help. ▶ this video The link is to Adam Scott’s beautiful swing. Look at the space between his right arm and his body then look at yours in this video. At the beginning you actually practice with one hand wider than your actual …

Check out the ultimate quiet tight motion swing from Adam Scott that other pros talk about emulating: ▶ this video See the differences. Everybody swings different but you’re in opposite end of spectrum and could at least take some pointers to move towards quieter and tighter swing

You are correct in that for your swing, your arms are just along for the ride. However, that isn't necessarily the correct or best way to do it. Before talking about you could be using your arms in the swing; you first need to address a couple things that you are doing that will hinder you if you do try to use your arms. The first is that your hands are way too far inside, and the second is that you roll your …

OP, We have/had similar swings, I’m far from a pro but I can immediately see you struggling with something I struggled with for years. Your getting stuck on your downswing and coming in over the top. Your backswing is actually decent. Room for improvement for sure, but what you’ve got going right now actually sets you up for a decent golf shot. It all falls apart immediately the second you start your downswing. I’m …

Keep in mind a driver swing will look more shallow due to hitting off a tee Here's rory with an iron and notice how much more "steep" he looks. ▶ this video same with Adam here ▶ this video Also when the camera is at the wrong angle behind you it can skew where it looks like the club comes down on so ideally behind the hands is ideal ▶ this video

Ok making sure you weren't using standard length. At 6'6" that is usually about 1.5 inches longer so pretty close to what you would start at. You do appear to be lifting up on your swing you want it to be more of a turn. Below watch Adam Scott. Notice from takeaway to impact his head is darn near stationary. When you look at yours overall the swing is good but raising up then back down will cause all sorts of …
