I had that same issue. What fixed it was using a stick on a more horizontal plane then swinging under it. Just like this video: ▶ this video … It took me 2 range sessions to finally have it as a normal swing.

You’re taking the club away from your body on the back swing then swinging out to in. Club should instead stay close to your body on the backswing, then swung outward, in to out, on the downswing. The wrist turn straightens the shot (with no wrist turn it goes to the right). In sum, it’s a small swing path issue. A pro can fix this swing in minutes. I had a similar issue, took 1 lesson, and my score dropped from mid …

[preview.redd.it] Hands at address on the left and hands at impact on the right. Note the shaft angle and how you are more upright at impact. All that said, I offer this video for consideration: ▶ this video I'll also add a swing sequence in a reply to give you a look at hand positions at address and at impact.

work on getting your backswing more on plane and things will neutralize. ▶ this video this is my favorite drill for the takeaway (if you have access to grass outside which as NYC golfer I know is hard). You can also put an alignment stick in a bucket if you have access to marine park or alley pond.

Best drills I’ve found for this. It is going to feel crazy weird to you. But stick with it. Two versions. start on lead side. Slide shaft down leg and off before knee. Have end of stick point between feet and ball. [instagram.com] trail side [instagram.com] Also this one is a slight variant of the same drill: ▶ this video

The best drill is to put an alignment stick in the ground like 2 feet behind you in perfect line with your shaft at setup. Then just don’t hit it lol. This is a good version of it ▶ this video

Take an alignment stick hold it and the golf cub together running down the club shaft. Release with one hand and adjust the length of the alignment stick so it extends beyond the end of the club. Here is a YouTube video that shows how to grip shallow etc. ▶ this video

Keep the club head outside/above the hands during the take away, this should put you on the right track resolving your OTT ▶ this video

You’re way steep on the backswing and crossing the line. You’re then coming over the top on the downswing which causes you to slice the ball or dead pulls if the club face is closed. At the top of your swing, your front arm needs to be parallel to your shoulder line and the club pointed to your target. On the downswing at club parallel to the ground, the club face is way outside your hands. Clubface needs to be …

IMO the first 2inches of your takeaway where the hands go out and the club goes flat is causing the issue. Try this ▶ this video

I think you strike the ball great. The driver path is being tossed over. I'd try this drill. ▶ this video
