Moe Norman's vertical drop horizontal tug got me halfway there: ▶ this video The rest was realizing that the hands, arms, and club really whip around, almost at the last moment before impact. I thought this was "flipping" but it's not. The right wrist stays bent back until just before impact. The left wrist sort of bows and rolls over through impact.

[preview.redd.it] You are not clearing your hips. Your first hand movement was a nice vertical drop to right pocket. ✅ Striking with a decently square face. ✅ Horizontal tug though the ball striking ❌ Folks laugh when I add this video but there is basically nothing more instructive advice for golf swing practice than this ▶ this video.

▶ this video Just do moe norman's coin drill on the range. It'll help you shallow your swing path as well as increase your rather short timing window for the square club face. For your hips, don't fear a strong rotation move to start. Less sway, more rotating over your center mass. Let that right knee come back (without locking much,) let the back get to the target, and let the weight almost fall forward to the …

It's nearly impossible to hit a perfectly straight ball unless you want to go ▶ this video Watch to the end of that video, he has a great tip about the club moving through the contact area. But with his style swing you ultimately sacrifice distance. The best players in the modern game are grooving a certain stock shot shape. Adapting to the lie of each shot and course conditions is key.

No learn the single plane swing. It is much easier and doesn't require you to hit a bunch of points in the swing. It's just back and forward. Moe norman was the best ball striker ever. Why not use what he did? ▶ this video But actually I like this guys channel for actually learning the swing ▶ this video

If you’d rather go self taught, check out Moe Norman. He’s considered on of the best ball strikers ever - I think you’ll see some similarities in your swing: ▶ this video
