It’s called the release. Here’s a good short video. My advice is to practice with an 8 or 9 iron swinging from 9 o’clock to 3 o’clock and allowing your body to naturally make the move. ▶ this video

Sounds exactly like how I had it! Resting to get the initial pain go away is smart. And then when it starts to feel better, you can start to swing more freely. What helped my release it better and not have too much tension, was the thought of ”loose grip”. Grip the club as loosely as possible while keeping your arm structure and arm structure. Watch this video on releasing the club and how the hands are coming down with thumb away from the target til it gets past your left side of thigh. This is extremely important and probably the reason why u are coming down steep. If u want to get into a rabbit hole on youtube, type in "body release golf" and watch couple of videos. ▶ this video

In terms of hour hands, they are open, which means your club face is going to be open, which is the reason for the slice. Check out this video, it should help in …

It’s coming way out of those lines and moving behind the ball. You need to be rotating around your spine so your head doesn’t sway. It can move but it should stay within those lose lines. Potentially due to how you are rotating in the backswing, your hips look super …
