I've been working on this issue myself. Try this drill from Paddy's Golf Tips. ▶ this video I had an "aha" moment at the range this week using it. You have to learn what open and closed feels like to find square.

I will forever direct ppl to Padraig. He focuses on natural body movements, he preaches simplicity. Anybody who can simplify something complicated means they know what they’re talking about. That’s Padraig. Watch his swing, match his body movements. Monkey see monkey do. I finally stopped slicing after I saw these videos, Padraigs the man bro. ▶ this video ▶ this video

The wrists and hands control the clubface orientation bottom line regardless of what anyone says. You need to go to the range and practice hitting massive hooks and massive slices just using your hands then you can train your wrists and hands to deliver a more square clubface. The other part is keeping the clubface relatively square inthe backswing (no one actually does, but you can limit the amount of opening) …

This is a wildly inconsistent move but it doesn’t mean you should quit golf. As always, personalized pro instruction will always be the fastest path to fix your issues but if you must DIY you’re probably flipping to stop a wildly open club face so you need to learn how to properly square the club face. When I was learning to square the club face I found Padraig Harrington quite good: ▶ this video

Don't worry, you just need to gain awareness of where the club face is, which is controlled by your hands. Padraig Harrington just uploaded two videos (▶ this video & ▶ this video) about this, a 3 time major winner can explain it better than me.

I'm no expert, but I don't think you're over the top at all. That's an inside path at impact and you're getting a push slice due to your open club face. I'd wager your strong right hand grip along with some undesirable (with the driver anyway) shaft lean is impeding your ability to get the face back to square at impact. Try a more neutral grip, then try letting the club head catch and pass your hands at impact with …

Club face is 90% of the damage there. 3.4 out to in is a manageable fade. Get that face closed. ▶ this video

You're early extending, which happens because subconsciously your body knows your club face is open so that's the only way you can hit the ball. You need to learn how to maintain posture and close the club face without early extending. Its good to do half swing drills to get a feel for it. I like this video from Paddy Harrington.. ▶ this video
