You are twisting your hip during downswing. Instead, you need to push left hip back. See ▶ this video This changed my swing completely.

Hard to tell via slo-mo but fairly certain you’re using your arms to downswing. You should focus on shifting your weight to move your arms and make them more passive. I’d maybe practice swinging to the top, completely stopping and letting your hands fall, no movement. Then let them fall and turn. Then let them fall, turn and FIRE those hips. Also most people don’t know how to shift properly, this vid does a good job …

I’m going to add this link to Mike Malaska here that someone shared last week. It talks more about the hips and has basically the same message. ▶ this video

‘Use more body’. Which part. In which order. When. How much. Which muscle… You can’t execute on things like ‘rotate’ or ‘use more body’. It can execute on ‘push into the ground with your left foot’ or ‘lift your arms’ or ‘bend your right wrist.’ You have to give it a very simple single command. If you can break the concept of ‘use more body’ into specific commands it will be possible. Example ▶ this video

I like this. Here’s another video that explains same concept: ▶ this video Another idea is that you may be holding off on releasing your club. When I shank, it’s because I am trying to “keep lag” but that just throws off my timing and I end up leading with the hosel because I can’t get the face closed. Don’t be afraid to release the club.

I would say the dip is causing contact behind the ball. It would help to get an angle where we can see where the ball is being struck. Someone on this sub recommended ▶ this video and the feeling he explained was rotating the hips without twisting or a “squatting” feeling; might help that excessive squat.

The simple answer mechanically is that your face is open to your swing path. You need to do a better job of squaring the club face. If you freeze frame your video at impact you can see that you're left arm is significantly higher than your right arm coming into the ball. If you get into this position and get your left arm down to level with your right arm you will see that it squares up your club face. One way to …

That knee bend right before you start your backswing is wild. Looks like you're moving your hips towards the golf ball. Try working on your lower body and I think the rest will fall into place. ▶ this video
