As someone who is has suffered from the shanks before…try get your hips moving away to give space for your arms to drop into. I like this video to explain what I mean: ▶ this video

I'm still struggling with it after 40 years but hitting dozens of balls into my net the other day I started (what felt like) moving backwards as my first move and found some success keeping my head from popping up as badly at impact, as well as getting my weight transfer going more on time to move my low point forward. I realized I had finally learned to implement the "zipper away" drill I had learned of years ago: …

Not the best camera angle but that looks like an out to in swing path. Your shoulders rip open in transition and that makes your hands go out more than down. Try this move in transition instead, it’ll give you the opportunity to drop your hands and keep the correct sequence - ▶ this video good luck!

You know most of the time early extension is more of a symptom than an isolated issue. The early extension allows you to hit the ball where you want to. Sometimes it’s just a poor concept of how the pelvis should work in transition and people fire their right hip for speed. ▶ this video. If not then it’s something further up the chain of events.

But both are obviously elite ball strikers and thats because of the third frame. First off, you make a good move at the ball. There is alot to like here. But your follow through is a disappointment and is sawed off and thats …

Start with your setup. You're standing up very straight. Hinge more at the hips. Your arm pits should be over your toes but your arms should hang vertically and not reaching out for an iron. That should put the weight more out in the balls of your feet rather than your heels at address. Relax your left shoulder. You have very late wrist hinge. You suck the club very inside under the plane on the takeaway, and you …
