Yeah I have applied this to both driver and irons with good results. Feels like it falls or drops directly downwards to start the downswing and then I do a proper body turn. Eliminates over the top. ▶ this video

I have this exact problem maybe not as an aggressive OTT move but its still the same sequence problem where the down swing is started with the shoulders and arms being thrown at the ball instead of the lower body/hips initiating the downing with the arms falling/dropping before turning through.
