People have already pointed out the tension which is true. I think keeping your back foot down is the biggest part of this for you and a huge loss of freedom of movement and therefore speed. I am a novice golfer but research sports coaching and I agree with others sentiment. Find a new coach! There are many ways a coach can free your swing up and it seems they haven't managed to do it despite your willingness to …

First you’ve got a good swing and specifically a really good downswing. You could have more consistent ball striking if you released the club properly and finished your swing. Try to imagine you’re throwing your club down the target line. ▶ this video Same concept but different thought is on your downswing imagine you’re hitting the ball with your right shoulder. Soft wrists all the time. Right from address. But (imo) fix the club path first. You look a long way out to in, do you know how much? I’m guessing about 10 degrees. 4 degrees out to in is fine, 4 degrees in to out is fine. Club path first. Then club face. ▶ this video I’m guessing if you did this and threw the club, it would end up at third base.

I've been working on my left wrist (which was cupped) my weight shift and my OTT path with him for months now but I probably experience the same feeling you have. I tend to early extend like you and always exit left early and low. At least I don't have the shanks but I'm inconsistent from the turf and my balls usually don't right like they're supposed to. These are two …
