Practice to this: ▶ this video Play it on repeat on your phone with earbuds in. In case the link dies, it is a youtube short of 'Ernie Els Swing Tempo' with a click track. There might be a more optimal tempo but this seems good enough. If I dial my swing into this tempo, within about 10 shots or so, I'm hitting it as well as I'm able to.

Now I’m thinking a metronome is not what I need. It’s not an even rhythm I more a beat or whatever it’s called. Like this 24/8 driver swing from Ernie: ▶ this video In any case thanks OP for bringing this up! I now understand Im rushing all longer clubs and will find a way to work on different tempos depending on club, I guess.
