Some advice I wish I had when I started was don't start with full swings like this. Learn to manage impact by moving your body first. Then gradually work up to full swings. This might be too big of a change all at once, but see if you can do these drills: ▶ this video It is going to feel so weird, but that's a great way to swing a club for someone athletic like you.
