think about this your bringing your hands basically straight behind your back. at this point where can your hands go? they will always come over the top because ITS THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN GO. SO try this: on the start of your swing work your hands AWAY from your body this will give your hands the ability to actually come inside on the down swing. i could not for the life of me figure out WHY i couldnt stop my slice i …

General advice for irons and driver: ▶ this video lead arm pressing too much against chest . Get your shoulder rotation rate more in sync with your arms in the take away. You might benefits from thinking about lifting your arms more straight up during your takeaway, as opposed to around your body . Rotate shoulders more, keep arms more in front of chest , lift them up . Don’t copy this swing , but here’s the …

So you are rotating, which is the primary concern. The leg work you have is a natural consequence of the spinal tilts and bends you have on the downswing. More tilt/bend = more need to move the leg back to clear out room. The tilt and bend is a way for you to shallow the club a bit. However, it slows your hips down. You’re clearly athletic and you’ve naturally figured out that moving the lead leg back will help …

You're way too flat at the top and the club is pointing above the ball. See how your arms come down and the club goes outwards in transition and the DS? You need the club pointing inside the ball at the top because it's hard to give the club the right momentum when the club is laid off when the arms come down. You need to have a strong club face at the top or during transition. It's very important. So get less laid …

Haha yeah, it definitely looks like a little dance. But some pros actually do stuff like that. Matt Wolff is a good example. He has a big hip bump and leg shift before he starts his swing. It looks wild, but it works for him. Here’s a clip: Matt Wolfe Slowmo - ▶ this video Everyone has their own way of getting loose. Some are super subtle, some are more noticeable. If it helps the swing start with better rhythm and …

I think you are OK leaving most of it alone. The main issue that I see is your club shaft is a little bit vertical on the downswing. If your hands are gonna move out toward the ball on your downswing like that, you have to get the club shaft more horizontal. Watch Matt Wolff for a more extreme example of what you should do. ▶ this video He goes from beyond vertical to laying the club flat. Watch the path his club …

I would focus on not taking it so far to the inside on the backswing. As you end the backswing, you know (consciously or subconsciously) that you need to lift the club up. If you didn't you'd be swinging way to far from the inside on the downswing. So, as you pick the club up, it's hard to fight the momentum and it keeps going up and puts you over the top. You are probably going to have to feel like you swing it …
