▶ this video, to keep focus on rotation, and having your arms work more cohesively ▶ this video but I think it does a great job of illustrating what we're all really trying to do with the clubhead. I wish I had found this video sooner... its helped me to work backwards from proper impact and find a more natural backswing.

Amazing swing for 8 months! Only 2 pointers, but definitely not terrible issues. 1. There’s a bit of flyaway separation in your arms on the takeaway. What I mean by that is that your rushing your trail arm to get to the top of the swing position. I’d practice staying a bit wider on the takeaway to the top, which should stop your hands from getting overly involved to get parallel on the takeaway. This ball and …

Big time arm collapse at the top of the swing. Try to feel like you're keeping your elbows close together and your hands far away from your chest. It has nothing to do with it. Think about what happens to your clubface when you detach right elbow that far and roll your right arm counterclockwise. It's probably to compensate open clubface or something, or you have some other weird swing idea that you need to do that? Try this or similar drills with balloon ▶ this video

u/reverse_the_loop 2026 · r/GolfSwing · in “very inconsistent”
[preview.redd.it] This is where your hips stop turning. Every move deeper than that on your backswing is getting your pivot more and more of out sync. You need to make compensations on the way down. Your ability to time those determine your consistency. Do you have elite coordination? Are you able to practice every day? Work on pivot sync and connectedness. I would immediately ban a full backswing in practice. On …

Still inside takeaway and lack of wrist hinge to get the club more vertical in the backswing. The ball is great to use thru impact, but you have to drop it on your finish, or take half swings to get the feel. ▶ this video

This is not an ideal camera angle but I'll do the best that I can. 1. Setup 1. Turn your right elbow so that it's pointed at the ground, your "elbow pit" should be facing straight away from you. People call this the "giving blood" position. Yours is too internally rotated 2. You want a little bend in your right elbow at address. 3. Here's Porzak on "▶ this video" and soft right elbow 2. Top of backswing. 1. It looks …

Left arm should stay straight until the end of the swing. The moment it bents in the back swing you lose the arm structure. Watch and understand the arm illusion it will help understand the swing and the back swing motion. Also the ball between arms drill would help your arm structure. ▶ this video Focus on your back swing, arm drop and as someone mentioned slowing things down.

You’re not getting good extension through your follow through. You want a long arc that bottoms after it hits the ball. Check out this drill. ▶ this video
