you can do the straight back takeaway, but you have to start hinging once you pass your right knee pretty much. you're hinging way too late. ▶ this video this is critical to good ball striking. you're leaving 5-10 yards out there on everything pretty much, if not more. along with much better ball striking.

way too much turn, and way too early, and way too late wrist hinge. your hip turn is pretty much done about 5 seconds into this video but you somehow continue turning your upper body until about 8 seconds. basically you're doing way more than you have to and it's a very inefficient way to swing in all manners. ▶ this video
