Pretty good move. Club face looks open at impact and stays open after the release. Hard to tell from the video, but your left hand grip might be too weak. This helped me get better control of the club face: â–¶ this video

Grip is weak, you have a reverse spine angle and you're swinging your arms across yourself. â–¶ this video â–¶ this video â–¶ this video Watch these and copy along. See what is left at the end when you get it and what fixes itself in the process of you learning the correct movement

You are off to a good start but please fix your grip first. It is the only connection you have to the club and it makes such a difference to get it right. It is entirely possible for you to grip it like a pro. ▶ this video It is going to be uncomfortable at first but I guarantee if you stick to it the control and speed benefits are worth it. Hit short chips then move up to pitches and full swings. If you need …

Start with a good grip. The grip - great detail & reasons why not “anything goes” Monte & Brendon ▶ this video AMG- good detail on both hands. ▶ this video Martin Chuck. Very good from the golfers perspective grip placement. ▶ this video Chris- club face open relative to lead arm @ top - cupped wrist & open at impact - all due to grip not in fingers. ▶ this video Scratch academy- strong or neutral never weak (unless …

As CTH above mentions, you need to review the golf grip. At least understand what a good grip is, you may not be able to do it right away but you can work towards it. I like this golf grip video. â–¶ this video It might be a bit advanced for you.

â–¶ this video They cover basically everything regarding a good grip so make sure you have it on correctly. On the way down you need the club to start to go toe over heel as you rotate the forearms, so in that screenshot I posted your clubface should be like 30 or so more degrees rotates closed or close to it. If you come down with the face open you have to make a ton of compensations to try to get the ball on target.

Posture Grip Alignment I’d work on those. Folks have commented on your grip. Here’s a good video to consider: ▶ this video That pause at the top of your swing can be fine too. It can also be problematic. A smooth transition between the top of the swing can promote a more fluid and athletic motion. Generally speaking, everything about your swing seems stiff. There is some other stuff going on too but I’d start there.

Left hand grip is definitely incorrect on the club. It's too in the palm. Need to get that hand on top. Athletic Motion Golf has a great video on getting this right â–¶ this video

If you actually want to stop slicing, you need to swing the club like it's a golf club. Your swing is not terrible, but conceptually, it appears you don't understand the golf swing at all. Most of these are concepts as they inform intent, and your intent informs your actions. ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video Arm Swing Illusion of the golf swing. ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video ▶ this video …
